Annecy, FR – June 22, 2026 – WildBrain, a global leader in family entertainment, is heading to Annecy International Animation Film Festival (June 21-27) to participate in a much-anticipated panel unveiling first-look footage from Snoopy Unleashed, the upcoming Apple Original Film from Peanuts Worldwide and WildBrain.

As part of Annecy’s official “Work in Progress” panel program on June 24, the filmmakers behind Snoopy Unleashed will discuss the highly anticipated new Peanuts film. Panelists include Snoopy Unleashed producer and two-time Oscar nominee Bonnie Arnold (Toy Story, How to Train Your Dragon), director Steve Martino (The Peanuts Movie, Horton Hears a Who!), executive producer and Creative Director at Charles M. Schulz Creative Associates, Paige Braddock (Snoopy Presents: A Summer Musical, Camp Snoopy), production designer Tom Cardone (Ferdinand, Rio) and WildBrain’s head of global animation, Scott Carroll (The Peanuts Movie, Nimona, PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie).

Peanuts gang stares as Snoopy runs with black-and-yellow caution tape on a city street lined with tall buildings.

In Snoopy Unleashed, when Snoopy runs away from home, Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang go on an emotional and wondrous journey to the vibrant Big City as they search for Snoopy and discover that real friendship means loving each other just as they are.

Annecy is an important global platform to celebrate the world’s leading animated content and creative community. We are delighted to share a first look at Snoopy Unleashed at this year’s festival with our esteemed filmmaking team. In addition, we’re bringing a vibrant slate of animated content to MIFA for buyers, including two all-new Strawberry Shortcake shortform series. From premium feature films to digital-first content, our lineup reflects the breadth and depth of our overall content strategy, as well as our strengths and capabilities in producing world-class entertainment to meet audiences where they are.

First look at new series Strawberry Shortcake’s Bake Shop leading WildBrain’s MIFA slate

Today, WildBrain also unveiled the first look at its brand-new CG-animated series, Strawberry Shortcake’s Bake Shop, as part of its content sales slate for the Annecy International Animation Film Market (MIFA).

Strawberry Shortcake’s Bake Shop (26 x 3 minutes) will headline WildBrain’s content sales slate at MIFA. Aimed at kids 4–8, the series follows Strawberry Shortcake and her berry besties as they bake the world a better place in Strawberry’s never-before-seen Bake Shop—one sweet treat and bite-sized shenanigan at a time. Bursting with joy, kindness, and the (not-so)-occasional frosting fumble, each episode reminds us that treats aren’t just yummy—they’re tiny symbols of love and care between best friends. The series is set to premiere on the official Strawberry Shortcake YouTube channel later this year.

The new series is part of an expanded content offering for Strawberry Shortcake, leading a fresh lineup for MIFA that also includes The Berry Best Baking Show (12 x 5 minutes), a CG and live-action hybrid series designed to inspire kids and parents to get creative in the kitchen together.

“We continue to see global demand for high-quality kids’ and family content, and our slate reflects that momentum. Our Content Sales team will be at MIFA , and we look forward to sharing our new Strawberry Shortcake content as well as other stand-out titles for buyers looking to delight fans of all ages around the world.”

Katie Wilson, VP Global Sales and Acquisitions, WildBrain
