WILDBRAIN EXTENDS ITS LEADERSHIP POSITION IN FAST CHANNELS FOR KIDS THROUGH EXPANDED PARTNERSHIP WITH SAMSUNG TV PLUS

New FAST channels now launched on Samsung TV Plus in Australia and New Zealand for

Teletubbies, Strawberry Shortcake, Caillou and more; 27 further channel launches

planned for the platform across additional territories in 2024

 

Toronto, ON – July 3, 2024 – WildBrain, a global leader in kids’ and family entertainment, is extending its world-leading position in kids’ FAST channels through an expanded partnership with Samsung TV Plus. WildBrain has launched new channels on Samsung’s FAST platform in Australia and New Zealand for Teletubbies, Strawberry Shortcake, Caillou and Sonic, with Super Mario coming July 3.

Additionally, 27 new channels for WildBrain properties are planned to launch on Samsung TV Plus in multiple international territories later this year. Amongst the channels launching, those coming to Samsung TV Plus in Europe include Strawberry Shortcake (UK) and Sonic (UK, Italy), while in Latin America (Brazil, Mexico), Samsung TV Plus will be the home for dedicated Teletubbies and Strawberry Shortcake FAST channels.

 

These new channels will add to the 29 channels already on Samsung TV Plus across the U.S. and Canada, UK, France, Germany, Spain and Italy, nearly doubling the number of WildBrain channels on the platform while expanding WildBrain’s FAST audiences in new territories.

 

With more than 100 FAST (free ad-supported television) channels now launched across multiple platforms worldwide and more on the way, WildBrain is the the world’s leading expert in harnessing FAST for kids’ content as part of an omni-platform audience engagement strategy to grow brands and reach fans wherever they’re watching.
