London – March 25, 2026 – TG Entertainment, the producers of the hugely popular kids’ series The Brilliant World of Tom Gates, today announced new international sales for the hit show secured by its distributor, WildBrain, a global leader in family entertainment. Aimed at kids 7-12, the series is based on the award-winning, multi-million-copy-bestselling Tom Gates books written and illustrated by Liz Pichon and published by Scholastic.

New sales have been signed with Czechia public broadcaster ČT Déčko for all three series of the show (60 x 12’), as well as the Halloween and Christmas specials, Tom Gates: A Monster Halloween (1 x 22’) and Tom Gates: Epic Christmas Party (1 x 23’); ERR in Estonia for series 1–3 and specials; Now TV in Hong Kong for series 3 (20 x 12’); and PTS, the leading broadcaster in Taiwan, for series 1–3 and the two specials.
The new deals add to the series’ global footprint, which has seen the eponymous Tom Gates entertain children in over 100 territories around the world. Additionally, the popular Tom Gates EPIC Stage Show has now started a second UK tour, visiting over 40 venues nationwide.

Originally commissioned by SkyKids in the UK, The Brilliant World of Tom Gates blends Tom’s humour and school life with crafting ideas and makes that kids love to recreate, along with interactive games, gags and catchy songs. The series blends 2D and stop-motion animation with live action to create a modular, mixed-media magazine format.
Liz Pichon’s original Tom Gates book series, which inspired the show, has sold more than 16.5 million copies worldwide and has been translated into 47 languages. The highly-illustrated diary format novels are filled with humour, creative fonts and doodles to engage all children in Tom’s relatable everyday trials and tribulations at home and school. The first book in the series, The Brilliant World of Tom Gates, has just been relaunched with new content to celebrate 15 Funny Years. The 25th book in the series, Tom Gates is Not Famous (Yet) will be published in October 2026.
The Brilliant World of Tom Gates is produced by TG Entertainment Ltd with additional investment from SkyKids, The National Lottery and Scottish Government through Screen Scotland, and WildBrain.
