SERIES LAUNCHES WITH FOUR NEW EPISODES AIRING TUESDAY- FRIDAY AT 5 P.M. ET

Toronto, ON – 9 February 2017 – Start your motors and rev up your rotors, it’s time to see who will rise to the top in the brand new series Airmageddon. Zooming onto Family CHRGD on Tuesday, February 21, the series debuts with four action-packed episodes airing daily at 5 p.m. ET though Friday, February 24. The adrenaline-fueled competition takes viewers inside the Airena where teams of aviators control high-tech drones and take part in thrilling challenges. Adding to the excitement, the series’ first episode will be available tomorrow in the CHRGD section of The Family Channel App, ahead of the broadcast premiere, and the cool new game Flight Patrol will be released on CHRGD.ca.

Get ready for precision flying, airborne battles and spectacular crashes in the ultimate test of aerial skill, conflict and competition. Featuring drone pilot teams of two, the series follows players working against each other in an elimination-style obstacle course. Hosted by UK stars Will Best and Rachel Stringer, each episode sees four new teams enter the Airena and battle it out with the best before moving on to the semifinals episodes. In the end, one victor will be crowned winner of Airmageddon. With state-of-the-art, custom made, radio controlled drones, contestants showcase their skill, strategy and wit.
Giving Airmageddon the launch it deserves, viewers can catch new drone battles every day at 5 p.m. ET from February 21-24. On February 28, the series moves to its regular timeslot, Tuesdays at 5 p.m. ET, joining CHRGD’s epic Turbo Charged Tuesday lineup among the network’s top-rated series. In addition to the premiere episode, new episodes of Airmageddon will continue to be available on The Family Channel App and on FamilyOnDemand following their broadcast premieres.
