DHX MEDIA LICENSES 'MARTHA SPEAKS' IN FRANCE AND ANNOUNCES 2ND QUARTER ANALYST CALL

Halifax, NS - 10 February 2010 – DHX Media Ltd (TSX ticker: “DHX”), a leading independent international producer and distributor of television programming and interactive content, is pleased to announce that France Télévisions has purchased broadcast rights for 40 half-hours of the hit series Martha Speaks from DHX Media's distribution subsidiary DECODE Enterprises, for its France 5 channel. Martha Speaks also airs on PBS KIDS (US), TVO, Knowledge, SCN (Canada), CBBC (UK), Discovery Kids (Latin America), Nick Jr. (Australia) and Jim Jam (Italy), among other roadcasters, and is produced by WGBH Boston and Studio B Productions, a DHX Media company. Martha Speaks TV tie-in books launched Winter 2010, from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, with additional titles scheduled for publication later this year.
