DHX BRANDS TEAMS UP WITH BABY SENSORY AND TODDLER SENSE FOR NEW TELETUBBIES-THEMED EARLY LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT CLASSES

Bespoke ‘Tubby Playtime’ classes created by child development expert

Dr. Lin Day set to reach 35,000 preschool children across the UK

Halifax, NS – 5 September 2018 – DHX Brands, the dedicated brand management and consumer products arm of DHX Media, is teaming up with Baby Sensory and Toddler Sense to create Teletubbies-themed classes for preschoolers. The initiative will be available across the U.K. and was developed by leading parenting expert and renowned author, Dr. Lin Day, in consultation with DHX Brands. The classes, which are expected to reach an estimated 35,000 preschoolers, will feature a Teletubbies lesson plan highlighting the developmental benefits of play. The activity sessions will take place for one week, from 24th-28th September 2018.

The Teletubbies Baby Sensory and Toddler Sense Tubby Playtime sessions are sure to provide a rich learning experience for babies and toddlers. Fully immersing them in a world of colour, fun and creativity, the new lesson plan will take children on a unique and exciting learning adventure with the Teletubbies, exploring a host of fabulous musical instruments and gaining important abilities, such as listening skills, a sense of rhythm and also developing hand-eye coordination. With these fun-filled Teletubbies-themed classes, there’s no shortage of opportunities to learn about the many wonders of the world and the importance of playtime.
