Toronto, ON - 24 November 2015 – This December, Family Jr. takes construction to new heights with the premiere of the CGI-animated series Bob the Builder. Debuting Saturday, December 5 at 11:30 a.m. ET, the newly-revamped show follows Bob and his machines as they work together to overcome various challenges to get the job done. An early gift to viewers this holiday season, the series kicks off an entire month of festive programming filled with snowy specials and marvelous merry-thons for youngsters and their families.

There’s no skyscraper too tall, or treehouse too small for Bob the Builder and his machine team who are ready to tackle any project. As they hammer out the solutions that lead to a job well done, Bob and the Can-Do Crew demonstrate the power of positive-thinking, problem-solving, teamwork and follow-through. Most importantly, from start to finish, the team always shows that the fun is in getting it done. A reconstructed version of the beloved preschool series, Bob the Builder continues the tradition of telling fun and interesting stories with exciting characters, relatable locations and an aspirational hero. In this newly renovated edition, viewers can look forward to meeting new faces; a new home in the bustling metropolis of Spring City; and a refreshed feel with CGI-animation. Following the series premiere, new episodes will air regularly weekend mornings at 11:30 a.m. ET.

The construction continues at FamilyJr.ca where kids can learn more about the series, print off character-based colouring sheets and activities and beginning December 13, watch full episodes. Family Jr. OnDemand will also offer new episodes as they become available weekly beginning December 7.
