FAMILY CHANNEL’S BIG TICKET SUMMER CONCERT RANKS #1 WITH FANS

Toronto, ON – 30 September 2015 – Family Channel continues to take centre stage in Canadian households as the television broadcast of its fourth annual Big Ticket Summer Concert held the #1 non-sports specialty spot with the network’s key demographic of kids aged 8-14 when it premiered on Friday, September 25 at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT.1 Giving viewers nationwide access to the wildly-popular concert event, Family’s original production of the concert featured performances by internationally-known musicians and behind-the-scenes, coast-to-coast coverage with network host Deepa Prashad.

Performing on the 7-city Canadian tour was rising superstar Becky G, Brit pop-rockers The Vamps, Canadian alternative-pop artist Shane Harte (who will star in Family’s upcoming series Lost & Found Music Studios), California’s The Tide and network megastars – the cast of The Next Step.

Ratings highlights from Friday, September 25 for Family Channel include:
