Each week challenges two families push themselves further than they have ever been pushed before. They will battle it out in a series of survival challenges before grabbing all of the gear they need to survive in the wild on a 3 day adventure that will test them physically, mentally and emotionally. They will learn to see loved ones in a new light, rebuild relationships and find strength as a family. In the end only one family can come out on top and take home the $10,000 cash prize. "DOWN TO THE WIRE!"

Colin O’Brady hosts the Cajuste family from Austin, Texas, and Daynes family from San Diego, California. The Cajuste Family look to spend more time together than their busy lives usually allow, while the Daynes hope to honor their youngest, Eli, who has Down syndrome. The families will compete in a series of survival challenges, before grabbing all the essential items they need to survive 3 days in the wild on a 13-mile survival race that will see them using ATVs and paddle boards to cross Idaho’s inhospitable terrain in a competition that comes down to the wire. But who will survive family differences, injuries and wild weather and claim the $10,000 prize?

"TIME TO PROVE THE BULLIES WRONG"

Colin O’Brady hosts the Goulds from Gilbert, Arizona, and Hopkins from Mesa Arizona, in a daunting race through heavily wooded and mountainous countryside. The Goulds want to have one last adventure with their eldest daughter before she leaves for college. The Hopkins hope to instill confidence in their adopted children and prove the bullies wrong. The families will compete in a series of survival challenges, before grabbing all the essential items they need to survive 3 days in the wild on a survival race that will see them rappel cliffs and make an excruciating summit to the 10,000-foot peak that proves too much for some. Will either family manage to beat the elements and claim the $10,000 prize?

"I AM A HUNTER NOT GATHERER"

Explorer Colin O’Brady hosts the Blasingames from Gadsden, Alabama, and the Elliotts from Boulder, Colorado, in a grueling three-day, 16-mile, expedition through dense brush and jagged peaks. The Elliotts want to see their daughters, who have drifted apart, reconnect. The Blasingames are looking for reassurance that their eldest Elijah is ready for life away from home at college. The families will compete in survival challenges of Fire, Water and Food, before grabbing all the essential items they need to survive their race through the wilderness that will see them kayak deep waters, struggle to reach the tops of windswept summits, and survive scorching temperatures. Which family will overcome the struggles of family and terrain to claim the $10,000 prize?
