JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Storyboard Revisionists
LOCATION: Sherman Oaks, CA
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Looking for in-house Storyboard Revisionists. Must be able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Requires a strong understanding of cinematic visual narrative utilizing the camera in a more live-action manner to aid in storytelling. Good acting is a must. Must be able to translate notes and revise boards accordingly. Industry competitive rates. IATSE 839 classification. For the high profile DreamWorks Animation television series, "How to Train Your Dragon".
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- An understanding of Adobe Photoshop/Bridge/Acrobat
- Communicate in a positive and articulate manner
- Must work closely with other Storyboard artists, Revisionists and Directors
- Working to clear and defined milestones within a project and strict time constraints
JOB QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Work Experience
Previous Storyboard experience preferred
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
- High School diploma required
- BS/BA degree preferred
Knowledge/Skills
- CG storyboard experience is preferred
- CG television experience a plus
- A strong understanding of Photoshop
- Cintiq expertise required

- Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with managers and other levels of personnel
- Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail
- Must have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively
- Must have the ability to work well under time constraints
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks

- Demonstrates ability to be proactive about keeping everyone in the loop and up-to-date on the status of all tasks
