DHX MEDIA LICENCES THE NEW, HIT KIDS SHOW ‘SHEZOW’ TO THE HUB IN THE U.S.

Halifax, NS – 2 May 2013 – DHX Media Ltd. (TSX: DHX), a leading independent creator, producer, distributor and licensor of mainly children’s entertainment content has licensed its popular animated series, SheZow to the popular kids network, the Hub, where it will debut in the U.S. on June 1st.

 SheZow, which is distributed by DHX Media, is produced by Kickstart Productions and Moody Street Kids along with partners Film Victoria and Vision Animation. The half-hour series was created and written by Obie Scott Wade (Julius & Friends). Loris Kramer Lunsford (Johnny Test), Jason Netter (Wolverine and the X-Men), Wade, Gillian Carr (Flea-bitten), Huoi Seong Low, and Brenda Wooding all serve as executive producers.
