With a hipster guest roster that includes Jack Black, the Roots, Andy Samberg, Amy Sedaris, Jimmy Eat World and 30 Rock’s Jack McBrayer, the coolest preschool show on the block returns for Season 2. In the opener, Melora Hardin drops by: “I’m there for [green puppet] Brobee’s birthday party and I teach the kids a conga line.” We imagine non-preschoolers—fans of Hardin’s work as Michael’s madcap ex Jan on The Office—might be tuning in as well. And with a fifth season of the NBC comedy premiering Thursday, we asked Hardin for a sneak peek. “I can say we filmed Jan’s baby shower,” she teases. “I don’t know what the writers have in mind, I think it could be very funny for her to be the greatest example of what not to be as a mother, but I also think it would be funny for her to be a good mother.” Either way, we’re betting it’s Michael who’ll get stuck with dirty-diaper duty.
