Disney's Western series hits the pipeline

Disney Junior has greenlit what might be the first Wild West-themed preschool series, Oki's Oasis. The show from DHX's Wildbrain Entertainment stars the voice talent of actress and singer-songwriter Mandy Moore.
The series, a production of Wildbrain Entertainment in association with Disney Junior, is slated to premiere in 2013 on Disney Junior channels and on programming blocks worldwide.
Oki's Oasis follows Sheriff Oki and her deputy woodpecker, Peck, as they watch over their little frontier town. Each episode features two 11-minute stories and has two original songs.
